If I buy a micro SD card and get a card reader/writer with it and load songs onto that card via the card reader/writer will my new phone the LG VX8600 be able to read and play the songs on the card?
Should be able to. I’ve got the same phone! And I’ve got to tell you, I’m not all that happy with it, but my son put the card from his phone in and was able to play the songs from it . . . so, I’m guessing it should work for you as well.
Ok sounds good thanks a lot. And to be truthful, I’m don’t think that this phone has lived up to what it is supposed to be. I liked my old LG VX8100 better than this. I am sort of regretting not getting the enV, but oh well… just have to wait two more years 😮
Yeah, Sh8keS . . . I totally hear you. The reports and all sounded so good. It’s a sweet looking phone. It seems to have it all. But I really don’t like it. If I get fed up with it tho, I think I’ll just get one of those $50 VX 8300 phones. Sometimes simpler is better. Good luck with it!
I have that phone as well, and I use a 1GB Micro SD for music, and it works like it should. The only thing is that you can use the songs on the stick for ringtones, but you can use the pictures for wallpaper and stuff.
Hm.. I actually really like this phone.
just for further reference.. it all does work.. I mean just getting a card writer and then putting the card into the phone
