MSN Messenger is promoting Mixed Messages, a weekly online reality series. They produce a new episode each week, and you get to vote on your favorite ending.

There are prizes for voting. Each week they give away some loot to a lucky voter. This week, three people will win Xbox consoles. At the end, one lucky person will win a trip to New York City with three of their friends.

Has anyone checked this out? They call it a “reality series” although it’s really a bunch of actors playing parts. How does it compare with Yahoo’s IM Live! contest that’s currently running?

Is THIS the future of entertainment? 😮
