There really hasn’t been much of a demand for this. And judging by the wimpy 31 topics made about movies during the last year, there hasn’t been alot of need for it. Currently all movie discussions may be held in the Random Ramblings area.
Oh, and next time you have a suggestion, kindly post it in the BigBlueBall Suggestion Box instead. thanks 🙂
I think it would be a good idea. Maybe having this forum would generate interest, therefore more posts.
That is what I was getting at… People are interested in alot of music but alot of movies too! If there was a movie section I am sure it would be used, I myself would use it. How about others?
This has been suggested many times, if I remember, I also suggested it once, perhaps the management doesn’t want a movie forum? Or perhaps they forgot about the brilliant idea. 😉

Although there isn’t alot of demand yet (see revived from the dead thread above), it isn’t a horrible idea to have a sub-forum for Movies. Perhaps if more members voiced there opinion, it would have a greater chance of happening.
Actually I like the idea! I like to share my thoughts on movies I’ve seen, and I’m much more likely to watch a movie based on recommendations of a friend (online or offline) rather than a “professional” movie critic.

Jeff has got the right idea, it could be more of a movie review section.I love Funny Farm, it was one of my most watchable movies when I was a kid, just about anything with a combination of John Candy, Dan Akroid (spl??), or Chevy Chase, does anyone remember before FOX started their weekend football and they only played movies all day long?? On Saturday it was like the 2’o clock, and 4’o clock movies and Sunday it was 12, 2, and 4?? They always played old movies, like The Great Outdoors, Spies Like Us, and the Brat Pack movies, they played pretty much the same movies over and over eventually, but I loved to watch them everytime, I love that period in time when there always seemed to be some sort of combination of those 3, they are very funny guys to me and it is very sad they stopped working together….. but anyways, Funny Farm was a good one, classic, lol.
