(For MSN)
I was wondering if there was sort of bot/patch that allows me to see the status of users hiding using the option “Appear Offline” and send them messages and also a bot/patch to alloq me to see status and message people who have put me on block list even if it’s temporary. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.
I know of no such patch/bot for this. If a person has put someone on his/her buddylist on block or appears offline option there is a reason for it. Its just best to leave that person alone and respect their privacy.
It is “best to leave them alone & respect their privacy..” But if you really want to know this… Yes, it is possible. If the person has blocked you, you can find this by using Online Status Indicator, but if they’ve changed their status to “Appear Offline” then there is no way to find it out.
Hang on, there is one more problem, if the person has blocked “all other users” in the privacy menu, then there is no way anything will work. OSI works using the “all other users” stuff. That means you will not be able to send them a message. (Use alternative account to send them a message if they’re really online & they haven’t blocked “all other users”.)
