hi all
i know this wil be a post maybe discussed earlier but i have the patch which allows me to have multiple messengers working at same time. But the patch only lets me use it on version 5.5 which is no longer the latest version and im getting a little frustrated on how everyone has new messenger and i dont as changing to new messenger would mean no more multiple messengers. Anyone know of a patch that would owrk on latest messenger?

Craig, be very careful with any multi-messenger you use. Part of the recent patches is very strict chat bans. This is not only happening to people who boot, but also with people who use multi-messenger. If you log too many names in a room, or you keep leaving and coming back in different names because Yahoo ate your type, then you could receive a chat ban. These still allow you to log into mail/games, etc. but you are unable to log into the chat server. They can last from 4 hours to 4 months, or cause an account to be deleted.
Well i agree with Netti, recently yahoo has been so strict and quick to ban. As for me, I run 2 YMs, my original ID at pager (since i cant get it to enter any chatroom at the moment and still waiting for yahoo to fix it if ever they will pay attention to my emails :crying: and the other i use to enter chat.
So again, be careful in running multiple IDs at the same time. 🙂
