hello people yes i know this has been mentioned many timesbut can anyone point me in teh right direction for a workin patch that wil allow more than one messenger to be used at same time for version 5.5 pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

(thefirstsecond topic in the list looks promising)which ver of Y! are u using??? I mean the build number… The patch which I quoted is works for v5.5 build 1254!!! the other patch hasnt been tested by me so I cannot comment… u can just try the first patch whose link is given below
Patch 1 (tested) v5.5 build 1254patch 2 (not tested, use at ur own risk)
the patch 2 says tht it works for any version of Y! mess, although I still recommend first patch… if u r not using v5.5 build 1254 then u have 2 options
OPTION 1) install V 5.5 build 1254. u can dl it for free from here

OPTION 2) use the second patch 😉
I hope it helps u outP.S.: For applying first patch, u need to close the messenger completely, then run the patch. Now, u will see a new window with ACIDX written, drar the ypager.exe file loc at c:program filesY! messenger into the portion where acidx is written!!!
I hope it helps u out!!!you can open the yahoo messenger then go to yahoo’s main page and click on messenger there, then sign in there, you can only have one name per log in but if you have 2 different hames you can log in under messenger on their website and there your messenger, so you can have 2 different names on at same time. Don’t know about a patch that will let you log in with one name on 2 different programs using messenger.
Just Try Magic Messy it’s available on a million different sites http:.//own4ge.com to be one and it works with ANY version of messanger 🙂

hello all i tried the patch the way u said and i get ‘incorrect patch file’ which means it does not work any ideas anyone plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Try this. Don’t use 5.5 so I have no idea if it works.
agghhhh it stil says ‘incorrected/patched file’ anyone know what this means? the patch used 2 work before but i had 2 reset my computer to default n reinstall everything and wanted this patch back help me someone :o(
Its likely that your using an incompatible build of Yahoo Messenger 5.5, have you tried Restless311’s above suggestion of using Magic Login? It’s supposedly compatible with all versions.
im having no look with any of this at the moment i just keep getting INCORRECTED/PATCHED FILE even with version 1254 i dont kno y it worked before help!!!
My question is why does anyone need two yahoo messangers running at one time ? BTW trillain will let you log in like 5 yahoo names plus you can use Yahoos messanger also just use a diffrent user name that isnt logged on to trillain
Why would someone want two Yahoo messengers at once?
They may not understand that you can create multiple aliases that allow you to effectively do the same thing, but with one login.
