Fox is expanding it’s Full Throttle offering of television shows (see Fox Streams More TV to Internet). The key difference from the previous offering seems to be that Fox is now distributing the shows through MySpace in addition to 24 local affiliate websites (this was a pain because you had to make up a physical address if you didn’t live in a covered geographic area like Los Angeles).
The shows are available on this MySpace page.
Available shows include “Bones,” “Prison Break,” “Standoff,” “Vanished,” “Talk Show With Spike Feresten,” “’Til Death,” “The Loop” and “Justice.”
Shows will be streamed in high definition and are free, although non-skippable advertising is included. Users will be required to download a player to view the content.
This is a wicked idea! I love it!
Of course you do. You saw “Prison Break” and you were sold.
I have to agree — the idea of being able to stream or download TV shows is a great idea. It lets consumers watch the shows they want, when then want, and where they want.
How on earth did you know Jeff? 😛 But I definitely agree though, it’s an excellent idea for those who go out and enjoy their night, or watch another TV episode, they are able to catch up on what they miss without the hassle of looking for it torrent wise.
Thumbs up for Fox.
Damn .. spoke too soon. You can only view the shows online if you are from the United States. .. what kinda crap is that? The show is even filmed in Canada!!! (Prison Break that is)
