MemberI have 2 computers. On the 1st 1, I go 2 view an Adult Profile, if I am not Signed In 2 the Yahoo Network, I have 2 Sign In the 1st time. After I do that, assumming I don’t Sign Out or shutdown, I can always get back into an Adult Profile by clicking the Enter Adult Profiles. This the way I would expect it 2 work.
On my other computer, I must continually Sign In every time[/b] 2 view Adult Profiles, even if I leave the window open that I Signed In on. I can always see them, but shouldn’t have 2 Sign In every time.
The settings in Yahoo Messenger and IE appear 2 b the same, but something is obviously different. I have Deleted Cookies and cache, same result.

MemberIsn’t there a button when you sign into Yahoo (or a checkbox) which says, “Remember my ID on this computer”. When you sign in, ensure that is checked. With it being two different computers, if you check the box on one computer, it won’t automatically check this box on the other computer.

Memberur right and that works. Workaround is perhaps a better term. I definitely do not[/b] have that set on my other computer, but it is obviously something related 2 that. If nothing else, I do that 4 now. Thx.

MemberSounds to me, like its a Cookie Issue…
Are you using Internet Explorer or Mozilla?
Check Your Security Settings for the Internet, to make sure they are allowing cookies.

MemberYa, I agree, as soon I realized that it works by checking Remember My ID On This Computer, it seemed like it was a cookie issue. Privacy settings on both computers are MEDIUM/Default.
I’m using IE 6.
I added ALLOW yahoo.com to the Override Cookie Handling, but it made no difference. I also deleted the old cookies and cleared my cache with the same result. Anywhere else 2 check?

MemberYour not over riding automatic cookie handling are you?

MemberYea I have the exact same problem too and I have to go throw the same crap all the time. But sometimes it says “Enter Adult Profile” something like that. It sometimes works or it just sends me to the same page each time I click on the link.

well, by adding an ALLOW yahoo.com, it does override automatic cookie handling. In this case, it would enable cookies from any Yahoo site. Not good?

MemberI would try lowering your security settings on IE, to see if that fixes the problem.
Im kind of baffled on this one, considering you are allowing yahoo.com.
Although profiles are a subdomain, im not sure why it wouldnt allow both.
If you don’t feel like lowering your security settings, try to login via the SSL secure method, https://login.yahoo.com
Or try adding profiles.yahoo.com to allow cookies
