Hello,,, I have been having trouble with my Yahoo Smileys sets ( Set A , B , C , originals and the x-rated ones (56 ). I redownloaded Yahoo Messenger hoping they would work, but they didn’t. Yesterday they worked, but my messenger was different. My messenger was missing ALL of the tabs. The tabs of ” message, chat , mobile and add ” weren’t there at all. I closed yahoo out totally , and clicked on messenger on my desktop ..signed in… and the tabs were there, but the smiley sets didn’t work. Not only that I can’t even get any skins to work either and yes I have the lastest Yahoo Messenger. Please help …. Thanks 🙂
All you should be doing when you replace the existing smileys is extracting the smiley set into the c:program filesyahoo!messengermediasmileys which should not have an effect upon anything else.
Hi……….. Freddy , I did that 🙂 …. I had to reinstall windows XP. Yahoo was really messed up.Even after I reinstalled Yahoo. Some of my friends and my moms friends were having trouble with Yahoo.Everything is working fine now. Thanks for the help Freddy and feel_the_rythem. 🙂
Hey, i am trying to figure out how to add and use other emoticons to my messenger? and were to find then.
hi missbehavin1x… u can get loads of emoticons for ur messenger on the net… but its of no use as the emoticons will be be displayed only on ur comp and not on the other persons comp… Y! has fixed signs alloted to the particular emoticons… u cannot change them… i guess technology hasntt been implemented…
