I just finished mixing a DJ mix in Traktor, and I need to find a good .wav to .mp3 converter. Can you guys help me out here? Please help!
Hi, and welcome to the BBB Forums. I’m using Xilisoft’s Video Converter 3, which is pretty straightforward. Download it here It also supports conversion to many other formats.
Just make sure when you convert the wav file that you a) keep the origional file, and b) encode it at a bitrate higher than or equal to 192kbps.
I’d highly recommend dBpowerAMP personally.
The MP3 conversion codecs are only a trial-based feature, but there’s ways to work around that. 😉

Oh there is, is there? PLZ enlighten us! :p
That involves things which I can’t talk about here. 😉
Please, no talk or hints of illegal activities here. 🙂 Thanks. 😀
Bad det!!! *spanks* 😉
Rebock, a 100% free way to do this is to get Audacity, which is actually a full-out audio editor. However, you can use it simply for conversion purposes by importing a wav file, then exporting it as an mp3 file. (To export as an mp3, I believe you will need the LAME encoder, which you can also acquire off the internet for free).
Hope this helps.
You can also just go with a LAME front-end.
