MemberGetting random error messages when attempting to sign into MSN. Appears to be going through some sort of random cycle with it’s error messages. On one attempt I will get, “Your contact list is unavailable.” Then another time it’ll be, “We are unable to sign you in to the .NET Messenger Service at this time.”
I suspect it’s down, as all my other Internet applications are working. Can anyone verify this?

ParticipantYes I can verify it, I cant log in either. Right now it doesnt pop up any error message, it just cant log in while the rest of my internet works.

MemberTHe server is too busy. I get this error message:

I get that every single time. I press retry and it spazes out. I press cancel and it does nothing, I press help and it sends me to a website that tells me “the server is down”

MemberI’ve just got a “Server Unavailable” message when attempting to access the Service Status page.
I guess that says it all.

MemberI can’t log in either, the services must be down. You can’t access http://messenger.msn.com either, it takes me to a website saying….”Server is too busy” or…
Server Error in ‘/’ Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a “web.config” configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its “mode” attribute set to “Off”.
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the “defaultRedirect” attribute of the application’s configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
When you click on “Messenger” in http://www.msn.com it takes you to another page with a different design. They must be working on something alright.
