I just downloaded the new aim version.. but whenever i try to change colors or font types (bold, italic, etc.) in my away msg., when i click I’m Away, wherever i changed the font front the default it becomes Times New Roman. i tried to highlight and change the font back to my default font name, but it wont allow me. does anyone know how to fix this? thanks!
-BeAcH bAbEYou can do what I did. Go into Preferences and edit your away message in there and make it the way you want it. Make sure you have it right and save it. Then put that away up. Sometimes that works, others it doesnt.
I find this also happens in my IMs… I was talking to a friend and in the middle of a message I made the font big and then small again… Where I had made the text big and everything after that turned to Times New Roman.
I have my background set to Black, when someone with any other BG color IMs me, they have my background for their first IM…anyone else?
yea same thing happens to me. my backgound is white and their first IM comes with the white BG and then changes on their 2nd messages, depending on what BG colour they chose.
