To go along with this blog http://journals.aol.com/juberti/runningman/ written by an AOL engineer there is a new blog that is coming online http://journals.aol.com/gregsblog/aimInfo/ also from a software engineer at aol (me). Justin has mentioned me in the runningman blog (see http://journals.aol.com/juberti/runningman/entries/138), that is me. I hope that you all can find this blog in formative and fun…I am always happy to answer reasonable questions.
Thanks for the heads-up. It’s nice to have some personal writings and information about AIM, from developers.
Yea thanks, awesome blog
Thanks guys for the support. I hope to see many more of us here at AOL writing to the community. My blog will be more than just IM stuff. I am planning on sharing info from AOL/AIM Mail, AOL Browser, etc. Also, I will share some stuff about Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference in Sept.
Neat-O that will be cool I didn’t really understand it at first.
The blog will start rounding into shape as the summer comes along and we do more and more releases. I know that I hope the blog becomes a way we as developers can engage the community in what is happening here at AOL. Maybe we can share some neat tricks, or fun features. Look for either later tonight or tomorrow some cool screen shots of our Live Video stuff that is in the Beta 2 Triton client.
