i want to chat with you guys but im too stupid to find your chat room..all that stuff looks hard..i dont think i can do it..do you know an easy way?;)
and i highly doubt your to stupid, your just a newbie to irc, if you have it, everyone is a newbie at first. When i first started chatting on there i didnt know anything at all, or even how to go to more then one server or even get to a server other then in the list. So dont say your stupid.
I will have to agree to the ” dont say anything stupid ” because if you do then no 1 trust you at all … as i have found out haha
Ok folks, buckle your seatbelts, because we’re going to make IRC chat really, really easy.
First, go to the BigBlueBall home page. From the left hand menu, click IRC Chat. You’ll be prompted to accept a certificate for the JPilot chat applet; say yes, and you’ll get a new window. Replace the name “Guest” with whatever name you want use in the chat room, then click the “connect” button.
Voila! You’re chatting via an IRC channel setup just for BigBlueBall. Easy, isn’t it? 🙂

The web chat I added to our site will work no matter what instant messenger you’re using, or even if you’re not using any instant messenger. It’s a completely separate thing and there’s nothing for you to download. Give it a try and let me know if you’re able to get in, ok?
I try to login in the evenings (west coast, north american time). It’s a brand-new channel, so it’ll take a while for it to take off, and as with most channels, there will be peaks and low points during the day.
Don’t give up yet! 😉

Jeff; I just went to the IRC section looking for web chat, but couldn’t find that anywhere.
