hey i was wondering if any 1 knows a site/s that have sounds specifically for msn messenger…i’ve looked thru all the media on my computer and there aint n e fin worth using…n e suggestions ?
zarg u can change the sounds… two ways one is to go through control panel and the other is to go to the messenger folder in program files and change the wavs.

the simpler way is to go to (in messenger) tools > options > preferences > sounds….and then scroll down to msn messenger sounds…

Okay. First you need GIF image that you’d like as the background. 160×140 pixels is the ideal size. Label it lvback.
Next, go into the files of your messenger. By default they’re usually located in C:/Program Files/ I believe.
In your MSN Messenger folder – you should find a .gif image labelled lvback. If at anytime you think you’d want to change the background back to the default Messenger icon background – you should make a copy of this file n’ store it somewhere.
Next – just replace the current lvback with the one you have created/stole.
Start up Messenger n’ your picture should be there.
