A few years ago I discovered this awesome way of roasting a pork roast and since then have always done it this way. And it’s sooooo easy…Hope you all enjoy it…;)
Whatever size Pork shoulder or lion roast..
Marinade
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
4-5 cloves of garlic {chopped finely}
2 Tablespoons Montreal Steak and Roast Seasoning {McCormick Grill Mates is da best} Stir together
Put roast in shallow roasting pan…
Cut slits on top of your roast…about 1/4 inch apart and about an inch or so deep. Put marinade in slits and all over the roast. Put in oven at about 250 degrees and slow cook for about 8-12 hours.
The roast will turn out soooo tender and moist and the top nice and crispy.
Pan gravy if desired…
Take roast out of pan and place pan on stove on med. high heat…deglaze by adding chicken broth and stir to get all the lil bits off bottom of pan. Pour over pieces of Pork Roast.
Enjoyyyyyy:p
Yumm sounds wonderful! Thanks will give it a try. Cheers
8 to 12 hours!!!
I am sorry, I don´t think I have the patience…mmm…but it does sound delicious. On the other hand…, what is Montreal Steak Seasoning?…sorry, ignorant european here.

It sounds excellent! I’ll have to try it one day when I plan ahead. We don’t eat a lot of pork because my husband is not very fond of it. However, if I don’t tell my husband ahead of time, he will probably end up liking it! 🙂
