MSNBC has political analysis on the Obama campaign titled “The Brand called Obama,” in which his webcamming ways are exposed.
McGirt writes that Obama’s ability to connect with and mobilize the 18 to 29 age group through new media and online social networks acts as a base for his success. On a personal level, the presidential hopeful uses a Web cam to keep in touch with his wife and daughters while on the road. And on the campaign level, he capitalizes both on his own Web site, which allows supporters to create their own content and interact with one another, and in external content including viral videos created by supporters such as Obama Girl (though she hasn’t said she’s voting for him necessarily) and the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am.
On a serious note, cool for him! It’s good to see someone tech- and communication-saavy running for president!
Obama seems like the best choice among the three candidates. And I like the fact that he’s (apparently) tech-savvy and family focused. I hope he can strengthen his economic and foreign policy stance.
I hate the f===ing government. Especially the government of America…
Anarchy Forever!!!!!!
Obama can shove a *rooster* in it.
McCain can go back to the desert, damned sand kicker
Clinton can jerk me.
I believe it’s good that he keeps pace with the time and uses new media in his campaign. Good for him at the first place. People who use internet will more likely vote for him rather than for an old man stuck in the Cold war mentality.
But no doubt, Joe the plumber will help McCaine to win the elections
heh, i think very lowly of all the politicians.
