MemberI just downloaded it and it seems to offer alot of new options
They have changed a few things around but all in all so far it seems to be pretty cool….If I have any trouble I will definatly let you know…I have yet to use all the new features so that is about all I can tell you right now…..BTW nice to hear from you again…
One other thing if you download it you may want to update your profile that has changed also…

KeymasterHere’s what’s new in the 3.6 alpha:
- New email-like ID format. If you’re a “pure” Odigo user, your new ID is @odigo.com. If you were a Prodigy (PIM) user or used another branded version of Odigo, your email address would appear accordingly: @prodigy.com, for example.
- Emoticons! – Yes, I think Odigo is just about the last IM on earth to support them.
- Send IMs to Multiple Recipients – I’m not sure exactly why you would want this, but now you can send a single IM message to up to 30 people at once. The only caveat is that they must be on your friends list or your recent contacts list.
They also took away one of my favorite features, the Homepager!
Here are the emoticons they’ve added:

Membermessengers seem to work but where is yahoo?
October 24, 2002 at 8:46 pm #99862Jeff Hester
KeymasterYes, apparently they’ve dropped Yahoo from their list of supported instant messengers… at least in this alpha version. Maybe they’ll add Yahoo support back in before the final version is released.

MemberI like it so far…….
I have experience no problems to date and while there is no improvement in connectivity it is certainly no slower than previous.
Connections still drop out at an alarming rate.
Chat buddies still get mad cos they assume I’m ignoring them when the link has failed temporarily.
It seems simply window dressing, unfortunately its impossible to hide an inherent problem.
After all, even an attractive Tbone steak is still just part of a dead cow.October 25, 2002 at 11:43 am #99873cindy

It is the only version they offer, and it is not labeled as an alpha or beta version.
And sure enough, after downloading and installing, it does NOT have an option for Yahoo Messenger. Maybe they’re still working on that functionality and will add it via a patch soon?
I’ll keep you posted if I hear of anything.
