Hi LordSeverance,
Are you saying that when you sign in, the emoticon pin list is always being ‘reset’, no matter what you had pinned before?
hi there. yes, this is exactly whats happening. i will unpin the msn ones, pin my own and the next time i restart msn,i have to do the whole process all over again

I’m not sure why this problem occurs, do you have any addon installed like Messenger Plus or Messenger Discovery that could create weird situations (for some reason)
You could try deleting the pin list data, so it starts a fresh, because it might be corrupted.
It’s located in the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMSNMessengerPerPassportSettings###EmoticonsPinList
Where ### is a unique number which represents your account.
There’s a bug which causes lots of dud keys to be created under PerPassportSetting, just look for the ones which have child items (a + sign next to them).
