I’ve made a simple PHP-script as a frontend to the OSI server, for an example see http://www.science.uva.nl/~dkaarsem/status.php. It uses my server at catweazel.darktech.org:9000, which is not the same server. For the sourcecode: http://www.science.uva.nl/~dkaarsem/status.tar.gz
What is the point in making a php front end? I think the current script is fine, why do you have to go about changing it? ALL OF YOU!
Well, i didn’t like the current script… I just want to know if Tony does or does not approve the use of a custom php script.
I don’t have a problem with a php frontend to OSI as long as it is good-looking. 🙂
A couple of things though…
– Trillian in OSI does not support Yahoo.
– You have removed the clickable IM links, why?

Okay, i will remove it.
Will it support yahoo sometime?

‘Not yet imlemented’ *g*
Just like the webring, still have to do that.
Glad you don’t disapprove, because this way it is much easier to integrate the OSI into an existing webpage.

No, probably not. It is not difficult to implement, but I need some way to find out if what kind of account it is. Currently all accounts containing @ are treated as MSN accounts, accounts containing all digits as ICQ and others as AIM.
