I’ve been using AIM 6.0 for a while and have no problem when someone else with 6.0 wants to have a “picture share” with me. We’re both able to see the pictures we share with each other just fine.
However, if someone with AIM 5.9 initiates a direct connection and sends a picture that way, the “picture share” box shows up on my side, but I never see any picture. Is this a problem with me, or are there interoperability issues between 5.9 and 6.0? Everyone with 5.9 has this problem when they attempt to send me a picture, so I’m wondering if it’s me or a problem with AIM.
Thanks!
That’s a new one to me. I’ll have to see if I can replicate the same problem.
I work on AIM Dev, picture share is not working right now between AIM5.9 and AIM6 when you are selecting images from the picture icon (which brings up YGP Picker) on the toolbar. It should be working fine when you bypass the picker and simply drag and drop images into the AIM5.9 AIM window and sending them to AIM6. We will fix the breakage asap, until then, the workaround to drag and drop should work.
Thanks!
Good to know… Thanks!!
