do you know any good pop-up blocker program?
Yes, use the Opera web browser. It has a built-in popup blocker.
Can I find it alone as a program and not included in a browser?
What browser do you use?
The Google Toolbar is a great add-on to Internet Explorer and is very effective at eliminating pop-ups.
You could down load Service pack 2 if u are running xp. It has a pop up blocker for IE.
i saw that there is this SP2 for xp but.. u see im on a dial-up modem of 56 kb and the size of that thing is 75 mb so.. forget it lol. im gonna go for the google toolbar.
If you want SP2, you can get it from the front of magazine covers and things like that. I also heard you can pick it up from selected retail stores, although i’m not 100% sure on the second one.
Also, you could always leave it to download overnight.
I prefer Yahoo toolbar over Google toolbar. U might want to get the Yahoo toolbar from this website>> http://companion.yahoo.com/
You could order a (free) CD directly from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp2/cdorder/en_us/default.mspx
