I’m new to the msn messenger 7.5 and have a few questions that I hope someone can answer:
Is my buddy list visible to anyone but me?
If I am in IM with one buddy, will the other buddies know?
How can I appear offline to other buddies while in messeger with someone else?
Thanks very much.
Hello and welcome to BBB. The answer to the first two questions is no, no one can see your buddy list unless they have the ability to log into your account or you tell them who’s in it. The same applies when talking to one of your buddies. About being invisible you will have to download Windows Live Messenger to be able to do that, in order to be invisible you have to change it on your status wich is besides your name in messenger. Hope this answer all your questions.

There two options:
In version 7.5, if you want to appear offline to someone while chatting with someone else, the ONLY way for that is to simply block that contact.
If you use Windows Live Messenger though, you can chat to everyone while being invisible 😉
Thank guys…very helpful.
One more question regarding the recording of webcam sessions; I know there is free downloadable software out there to perform this task, but is there any sold by well-know companies that are proven to be trustworthy?
Thanks again!
