MemberHello friends,
i have got a serious problem, my yahoo msgr was fine this morning , but now whn I log in to any chat room I can’t read wht ppl saying thr insted of their message I can only see some square type symples , ohhhhhhhhhhh gosh one of my frnds in ma list IM’d me NOW I can’t read tht message either ,its a square as well, please tell me whts going on with my msgr, I have downloaded some new stuff today for msgr such as some smileys, and an FTidlocker(i don’t know wht tht is but I tried to operate it is it something to do with tht?????:confused:) please help me as am going realy depressed 🙂

MemberIf you get rid of the things which you installed, that should determine what is causing the problem.
Obviously, if Yahoo Messenger works fine after you’ve uninstalled them, then we know that it was probably the things you recently installed that caused this problem.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to help furthur.

yes I uninstalled FTidlocker n re started the computer , now its working 😀 but then whts this FTidlocker??? and how do we use or wht is the advantage of it??:confused:

ParticipantThe name indicates it’s likely a program for locking ID’s which is very frowned upon here, I can’t tell you anymore than that as I’ve never heard of the program and a Google search turns up empty. These types of applications are not to be trusted as many of them are possible viruses or trojans after you install or run them on your system. I would recommend you do a serious up-to-date virus and spyware scan.
And next time don’t run a program if you don’t even know it’s purpose. Use your common sense and protect yourself! 🙂
