there is a couple fo problems I am having. One when I show that I am online to one person on my list and I cursor to where is states available to 1 contact next to the cursor a little message will say online to everyone? Next problem on messenger when someone sent an instant message, while I was signed in but invisible, when I replied they did not get anything this has been happening all week to another person was not sure if they where just telling me that, anyhow when I showed available to this person today they where finally able to see my messages sent back to them. Also with this one person I am not able to get any offline messages from them if I am not signed onto messenger and are not receiving any from me. I have not had a problem with anyone else that I know of. I have removed yahoo several times and cleaned program files etc… One question can someone else that knows your messenger id somehow receive my messages. I had a problem with someone a couple of weeks ago. I deleted them also used the program to delete myself from their list I am guessing that it is something with yahoo? sorry so long.
Edit: One more thing…i also have another messenger account and have not had any problems with messages if I am invisivlble or available. Just the problem of showing avaible to one person.
What version messenger are you using ??
Sounds like you are using the stealth feature. Question – do you right click this contact>>see me as online, then hit online or available in your status itself??
Also, the problem with the one contact not seeing you, while everybody else can, maybe the problem is at their end and not yours with this? Do they have a problem with anybody else on their end?
You can sign into one ID on messenger, sign out then sign in under a different account, will be the same messenger. Just the preferences will be different for each account.
I would also say that people could know your messenger ID, but unless they know your password and can sign into your account, they should be able to see your messages etc.
I apologize for all the questions. My limited knowledge but am learning as I go too. Some problems I have been lucky enough to not encounter.
Anyone else with a solution ??
