hello all, i am having problems with my profiles. as we all know you can create up to 6 profiles on one yahoo id. well for me i have a yahoo id which i dont use in chat but have a profile on that id which i use for chat only. what keeps happening is that i pm some from that chat profile but when they reply it comes back on my id, the one i dont use for chat! so this means i have to have two pm boxes open to chat, one with their replies in (my original yahoo id) and the other that i type to reply (my chat profile). if i pm back in the box their replies appear they get to see my id which is not what i want!! please could anyone shed some light on this issue?
When you sign in do you sign in with the name you want to chat and be seen with ?
and also when you hit the go chat button do you make sure the id ya want from the drop down arrow is on the id ya want to use?
Is your profile you want to use set as default?:)

ive tried both signin in and not with the profile and i still get same problem. and yes i do select that chat profile from teh drop down menu when i choose the chat button.the profile isnt set to default either but i never had this problem before. the strange thing is i hav another 5 profiles but i dont hav this problem with any of them wen i go into chat rooms! so i dont understand why it is occuring now! any1 with any bright ideas?
