Hi,
This is my first post on this board- hope it’s not stupid, boring or redundant.
The other day, I clicked on a box requesting automatic sign-in with Yahoo I.M.
I now have second thoughts about this, and would rather not have it (overloads my system, among other things).
Does anyone here know for sure how to undo this (outside of completely uninstalling the service, and then re-installing it)?
Thanks,
SR
Hey SirReal and welcome to BBB 🙂
You don’t have to uninstall yahoo to change the automatic sign in.
When you sign in to messenger, uncheck “automatic sign-in” in the start box (where you type your ID and PW etc.) and/or when signed in, go to “Messenger” > “Preferences” > “General” and uncheck the box “Automatically start Yahoo Messenger”.
Hope that answers your question 🙂
