Has anyone every heard of quake III? If so what is it?, and what does it do? either to you or against you? I found it when I checked my mcafee firewall warning log. It was on an outgoing UDP. :confused:
Quake III is a game made by ID Software (a gaming company). If it’s in your firewall’s logs, then chances are you have it on your computer, either your kids put it there, or a friend of yours/thiers. Don’t worry about it, it’s safe. The only reason why it would want out is for playing the game on the internet. So dont’ worry about it. :p

OMG… how can you forget a game like Quake 3? its one of the most amazing game ever made… it is still used by many companies to test their Hardwares and rate them… and playing it on LAN / Intenet is much fun… provided you have a fast connection
j2Haha, you’re KIDDING me. DooM][ was the best game ever made by Id Software… They started going downhill… it all started with the first Quake.

DOOM!! Fond memories! got the gba version of it, not quite as good as the original, but you can play it anywhere!! although, some people are beginning to think im crazy. if i shout DIE DAMMIT one more time i may be commited under the mental health act.
