KeymasterYahoo is working on the members directory. I know this becouse the other day I reported a whole bunch of profiles with nude kids on them, And all were deleted. I also reported about 200 profiles with nudity photos on them and the profiles were not set to adult.
Customer support is very fast at fixing problems when it comes to TOS agreement violations.
Plus I wanted to see if Customer support really did anything.

MemberI’ve received the 999 error repeatedly over the last few days. http://www.murraymoffatt.com/software-problem-0011.html offers a fairly rational explanation and offers a few workarounds. Good Luck

ParticipantIt’s basically the Yahoo! serving saying it is blocking your access to it’s service via your IP (Internet protocol) unique address.
It can be circumvented by using a proxy on your browser as you would be accessing from another IP but as with many proxies it will be much slower.
This error -999 ip denial usually only lasts for about 12 hours.

KeymasterDermot go to members directory and see if you get the error when you try to do a search. I think everyone is getting the messege.

ParticipantYeah, i noticed, Member search must be down for repairs/changes or just down.
I’m sure it will be back sooner or later.

ParticipantReporting profiles has nothing to do with the member search function.
The fact Yahoo! are blocking the searches has to do directly with the search.
all profile servers are still operational, old and new class profiles.

http://p6.pf.scd.yahoo.com/06.07The fact Yahoo are deliberately doing it is obvious.
Oh and they are very aware of it.
