Can anyone recommend a good program that can just record sound from my Audio card?
But can it record what’s coming through your speakers?
Anything that’s recieving input on your Audio card from the Input jack will stream into JetAudio. If you want something from your computer to be recorded, get a small stereo 1/8″ Male to Male plug. Plug one side into your Mic jack, and the other in your Speaker Jack. That should work. And if it’s a .wav or another file likt it, just download a free converter.
Ok(I just downloaded it)pretty cool, but I guess I have a problem, because I’ve downloaded a couple of programs that do this and when I play the sound file, I don’t hear anything. What’s wrong?
1. Start>Run>”sndvol32″
2. File>Properties
3. Choose the “Recording” Radio Button
4. Make sure “What U Hear” is checked and click OK
5. In the Recording window set the checked device to “What U Hear”.
6. You should now be able to record any audio going through your speakers from your computer.
I don’t see any checkbox marked “What U hear”.
Edit: Ok, I was able to fix it anyway, thanks.
