I have so many shortcuts on my start up screen is there any tool that can remove them from my screen. Thanks All
jc:
If you mean the desktop when you say start-up screen, you don’t really need a special tool to get rid of them. Here are 2 easy ways:
1) On your desktop, left-click your mouse and while holding the button down, move the mouse so that it “traps” as many shortcuts as you want. Windows XP indicates this by drawing a dark box as you move your mouse. After doing this, press Delete.
2) Click on Run in your Start menu. Type C:Documents and SettingsusernameDesktop. Left-click to select and use Shift to select groups of your shortcuts. Press Delete.
To banish them for good (bypassing the Recycle Bin) press Shift + Delete.
Phillip you mean right-click?
😛
BShink21 – Left-click. Right-click would be for the menu to come up if you went to each individual shortcut and select delete.
Ah, thanks very much for answering that, Ryan.
Ah, i re-read it, and I made a mistake with what I read. whoops.
