Hi guys,
using reshack and the hosts fixes, I have gotten rid of the audio ads at the top of AIM 5.2 (i dont use dead aim) now I’m left with a big white box, is there any way to add a picture in that space? like even just the AIM banner that appears when you start it up at first.
thnx for any input you can give.
Ice
Because those images are retrieved from the internet, I doubt there is an easy way to accomplish this.
there is a way probably im thinking u should change the address to the ads… its specified somewhere in a string table… then just change it to an image that u uploaded to a web server.
ie. if the address to the ad is, say ads.newaol.com or something like that, change it to urhost.tld/pic.file .. make sure its the same dimensions tho
You should just be able to link it to a link on our C drive. Un less i am mistaken (I’m not to familier with how programing works)
hehe of course 🙂 u dont have to upload it i should have mentioned that
Ive done this before but forgot how to do it with reshack. I will post later when i find out.
