I was giving a member reputation today in the “What makes you laugh forum” and this popped up:
Are we bringing back negative rep? I thought that we were going to just have positive rep enabled.

Staff has the ability to apply either positive OR negative rep, but regular members ONLY can apply positive rep (for all the obvious reasons).

Ok – so I’m fairly *new* here… and was wondering what consequence negative rep has. Positive obviously gives us shiny stars, (btw, gratz on your new one, Andrew :p) but negative? Boo boo kitties or something?

Plus they eventually get a nice little evil red pip next to them once it turns into negative something. You can always sort the member list by reputation rep to know what i mean: The List
