You might be able to use a video editing software like Pinnacle Studio and export just the audio. I’m pretty sure there’s a demo of Studio 9 you could download. I just check Windows Movie Maker and you can’t do it with that.
Just give google a search, there’s a ton of ways to do this. The first hit looks promising – Tutorial – Extract/rip audio from MPG to MP3
