I just read here we (the world) has lost one of our favourite adventurers…my heart goes out to the family he left behind. I hope the love and respect he had for the environment and animals his legacy that keeps on giving.
Agreed, Oreo. Although his methods were sometimes a bit . . . well, unorthodox; his passion for animals and the environment came shining through. We will remember him through his documentary work and his legacy will live on.
Wow..he certainly will always be remembered, and his shows always will be enjoyed.
Sad for Steve’s young family. I worry that he took risks that he needn’t have taken.
It was weird to hear about his death, especially in the manner in which it took place. Hope his family is ok.
damn i miss him already and his cool tv shows on the animal planet…
I absolutely LOVED Steve Irwin! I am sad to see him gone…
Don’t know if any of you saw the wonderful memorial service they put on for Steve if not here is a link to the highlights. Wonderful service and my gosh he would have been extremely proud of his daughter, after I listened to what she had to say about her Daddy I have to admit I had to get a tissue.
Pass the tissues, Sarah. A passing is always sad, but when little kids are left fatherless and the father is so young and vital . . . it just tears at your heartstrings. :crying:
