saying contact is offline when they are online …

Ok , for the last few months, its been saying some of my contacts are offline when they are not, and they havent got me blocked, ive tried uninstalling messenger and plus but it doesnt work, I tried getting the people to delete me adn I delete and re add them but that doesnt work either..anyone know why this happens? I remember it happening about three years ago as well, so I dont think its only got to do with Plus

Sometimes this happens to me and signing out and then in again does the trick for me…

It happens to me too.
You can either try repairing your MSN or ask your contacts to repair it!
Its not necesserily your fault.
Such problems might happen for several reasons, I remember a case of an MSN user with Linux that would always show offline status when he was online.
