Trying to use proxies won’t help as it more of an issue of the ports Yahoo connects to
are being blocked. Also even if by some chance you were able to connect using
proxies the messenger feature would be limited as a result of using the proxies.
You will be unable to use any P2P feature like voice, file transfer, enter chat rooms
using the messenger, ect. Thus being just about the same as meebo. lol
Your school must have it blocked for a reason.
Hi,
After having asked your security admin you can use soft on SurfNolimit: Use IM with sound and webcam at work/school anytime anywhere
You can bypass any proxy /firewall
Have a look at koolim.com
