I registered just to say that this whole thing is CRAP.

Next thing you know, AOL takes away the ability for Non-AOL users to use instant messaging.

Personally I’m surprised they didn’t go after something like DeadAIM where the guy is actually requiring you to pay for a hack he makes for AIM.

Jeff. You could try one of these things, but I’m not sure if they would help.

Make the software Open Source (GNU), spreading it faster and letting people redistribute it.

Host the AIM part of the website in a country where AOL has no copyright and place a disclaimer saying the if AOLTimeWarner holds copyright in you country you MUST NOT ACCESS THE AIM PART OF THE SITE!

Just Ignore them!

Go along with it and suggest people use a Better messenger (ie. Trillian) to access AIM. Surely quite a large number of people are supporting you, so tell them to switch to Trillian!

Wut a bunch of A-holes @ AOL. I can’t believe they would do this. AwayBox.com uses smileys. So does iMoods.com. So does Yahoo! messenger. The running man is seen all over the place. BBB isn’t trying to profit off it or anything. This is terrible. I SUPPORT SMILERS! I SUPPORT THE RUNNING MAN! BAD AOL! I hope all of the AOL executives are shot and sent to hell, then resurected only to be shot again.
