Call me an overgrown baby if you like, but I absolutely adore Shrek! I haven’t seen the 3rd installment yet, but judging by the trailer, it’s another winner in my book. My other fave character is the suave Puss-in-Boots, voiced by Antonio Banderas. I’ve the first two movies on DVD, watched them back to back recently and it never fails to perk me up 😀 .
P/S Just spotted this in IMDb Shrek 4 is slated for release in 2010. So is Puss-in-Boots…yay!
Yeah, although this movie didn’t seem to have as much Shrek-Magic as Shrek 2. I can’t really say why, possibly because of the over-hyped stuff everywhere this movie gets. Before, it was more like a movie movie, but now it seems almost *too* much.
I say Shrek 3 = Shrek 1 < Shrek 2.
Saw this a few weeks back and, sad to say, was disappointed. Shrek 1 was good, 2 was better, 3 was meh. Even Antonio Bandaaaaaaaras couldn’t save the show. (And I could listen to/watch him all day and all night and all day . . . .) Or maybe I’ve just grown accustomed to the cool effects and such. Dunno, but was disappointed 🙁 Probably won’t see #4.
I went to go see it with my girlfriend…I loved it – we loved it. But maybe something else contributed to my love for it 😛 Don’t get me wrong, it *was* good ^_^
I can’t bring myself to go see an animated film by myself… or with another guy for that matter. Maybe I’ll see it when it comes out on DVD. :p

I haven’t seen it yet…but I want to take this opportunity to say EFF YOU MCDONALDS! *mutter* Their stupid toys went and ruined the ‘surprise’ for me. And I don’t have cable so I haven’t seen previews or anything…it was just one of those things I wanted to go see and be pleasantly surprised about.
So yes, screw you mcdonalds.
