Sign on limit

How long is the sign on rate limit? My ISP was doing a bunch of repairs today, and I kept getting kicked off AIM… now I can’t sign on at all. It says:

“You are attempting to sign on again too soon. Please try again later.”

What is the deal?

wait about a hour, then you should be fine

Actually you don’t have to wait for a whole hour. ~15 minutes will do it. Just don’t keep trying before that, otherwise the time will add up, and you will be waiting around for around an hour.
