Smile at me..would ya?

Wasn’t there a poll or topic about using smiley faces in IM conversations?

Reason I’m asking… today I’m chatting away with a friend and he tells me there is no way I could go a day without using a smiley face. I’m big on using smiley’s – maybe it’s cause I’m a girl, maybe it’s because i’m so damn animated when I talk, who knows. I think it gets the point across. I searched but couldn’t find anything. I’m rambling here – but my point is he was right, I CAN’T go without using a smiley in a conversation and I like it when others do too. 😮
