Did the Ytunnel solve the problem your friend had? The one that had the problem where he could get into yahoo mail but not into messenger or chat.
๐ We got Y!Tunnel after Jon had deleted his account (Yahoo’s only answer to his problem) But had we known of Y!Tunnel b4 then it would have because thier message board talks of how to fix it. ๐ฎ Oh Y could’n I have found Y!Tunnel sooner!
AND glad to have you aboard Ironman912!!! Yeah we some nice peeps! ๐ Watch out Rusty BITES! lol Ahhhhhhh but she tasted how sweet I am when she bit me and is now head of my Aussie Fan Club! ๐

Do Not trust other sites that may have downloads for Y!Tunnel!:)Rusted surely this will get me my Mug! lol

MemberHi all…
I download this so call “so cool” Y!Tunnel build 120 beta and install it and unfortunately i could not use it.
When I click it….its indicate Y!Tunnel Startup Error…
It was unable to initialize the following components in the Yahoo Messenger connection manager.
Yahoo! Messenger primary connection monitor on port 8000.
Yahoo! Messenger voice chat connection monitor on port 8001.And it also stated that the problem may be caused by firewall software or by other applications that are currently using the ports required by the listed components.
Frankly, I doesnt know what its talking about. Could you.. any one… tell me and help me with this. I love to try it. Thanks in advance.:)

MemberYtunnel has stopped alot of boots for peeps but it also has ate some versions of windows (mainly XP). I would suggest not installing YTunnel on your system unless you have good backups and can easily reinstall. The programmer for YTunnel needs to head back to school because his registry settings are sure to hose some systems winsocks!
Dont leave your troubles up to some 3rd party Application builder that doesnt know how to program well.Best of luck to YTunnel users.

KeymasterI’ve been running YTunnel on XP Pro on two different computers and NEVER had a problem. Sounds like more BS from the booters trying to scare people away from the one solution that really stops them dead in their tracks.

ParticipantThis topic is almost a year old. The info is likely out-dated. Please refer to the Yahoo! FAQ for more up-to-date help on stopping booters.
