Someone has hacked my Yahoo account and now he is using it

Sorry to hear your having problems. You should be able to regain access to your account by clicking on forgotten password. your security and personal information should still be intact.

once you are in there You can change your password blocking out the hacker.

If it were I having this problem I would quickly contact my friends and family on my friends list the problem you had. I would then change email addresses and move all my contacts there and close out the old account.

I *think* what Williamlee means is that your original sign up information with Yahoo Messenger will still be intact. You cannot change that informtion, your date of birth, zip or country code, and answer to the secret question, will be the same as when you signed up. I believe only the alternative Email address can be changed and you don’t need that to access the account if you know the original sign up information. So if you go to the log on page and follow the steps it will give you a new password (or should) without having to email it to an address that may have been changed by the hacker. Good luck.
