I just saw a trailer for a movie called Stranger Than Fiction, starring Will Farrell and Emma Thompson (no, that’s not a misprint). I’m not sure when this movie is coming out, but it look absolutely HILARIOUS! A little reminiscent of The Truman Show, but very clever and very funny.
Check it out and see if you don’t agree.
I agree, that looks like fun. I enjoy watching Dustin Hoffman, and the rest of the cast gives me some hope that it will be a quirky, silly, clever little piece. It says it’s out in the fall . . . we’ll just have to wait for the date.I can’t turn my speakers up right now but I saw this trailer the other night. Can anyone tell me what the song is that’s playing in it? I remember really liking it but I don’t recall any of the lyrics to look it up.
Hey – been sick on the couch all day, watching movies and since this one was on pay-per-view I watched. It’s good! Will Farrell plays a more serious guy than his typical roles, and the “point” is one worth remembering. If you get the chance, or are spending all day on the couch, check it out.
I think her first sentence provided the clue. “…sick on the couch…”
I got a chance to watch that movie on DVD about a month ago. I really enjoyed it. Very funny movie. Will Farrell is perfectly cast for the role.
