Stupid XXX Smilies

my mom downloaded the stupid naughty smilies, whats the easiest way to remove them, at the moment I am running spybot S&D and then i will use add and remove to remove the program…will the smilies still be there???

All you need to do is replace the original smilies. Go to this page and look where it says

To restore the original smileys just download and run this file

Spybot and Add/remove programs won’t do anything, as all the adult smilies program does is replace the gif files for the original smilies.

Accually if your using the latest Yahoo 7. All you have to do is uninstall YIM and reinstall Yahoo Messenger.

I know this is an old post but I have tried everything out there and I cant get ride of these few adult smileys, its really driving me crazy….You name it Ive probably done it.

Uninstall Messenger and install the latest version. 🙂 Try using this to remove your current version of Messenger. 🙂

Get rid of “Smiley Central” or “Sweet IM”

these are the 2 most common but theres others

make sure you dont have any third party smiley programs like them as they will just keep doing it to your messenger.
