well am bck here with new face:p…hey guys how ya all doin?
well here is my problem:( …i bought a laptop 2 months back the OS was windows xp recently i have updated to windows xp service pack 2 and after updating windows SP2 my system stand by 15 mints in startup each time when start my computer i have the same problem it hangs on ..did any one have this same problem? or any solutions it will be most welcome…thanks in Advance
15 minutes? you may want to try running spyware sweeps, with programs like Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, etc… also, you can try going through MSConfig (Start > Run > msconfig) to see if there’s a lot of unnecessary things being loaded at boot time. a word of caution though, not everything in the msconfig list is bad, some of it is required. if you have any doubts about what may or may not be needed, post them here.
also, you could try defragmenting your hard drive, doing a disk cleanup, etc…
Thanks Tiger..but what i thinks is some Norton window its opened in the bck of windows screan may be am wrong ..i use microsoft Antispyware when ever i run scan it shows many bugs all the time ..am thinking to reinstall windows…:(
