Hi!
I’m trying to get trillian to display the message on the systray notification when someone talks to me for the first time, but I can’t.
I created a new event, systray type: message: IM window creation, with this: %displayname% says : %message%, but it doesn’t work, it only shows the “contactname says: “
and the actual text doesn’t appear.
Is that %message% the correct tag? if not, which one is?
I also tried %text% , %messagetext%, but none of them work either.
help,please!
Best regards,
J.
There is no %message%-like variable for this event. The best you could do is change the event type to “Message: Im Inbound (out of focus)”.
The MSN-Popup plugin does exactly what you want.
Yep, but why use a plugin if I can use trillian’s built in pop-up system?
Or it’s just not possible?
bye!
Alright, I tried it, it works like a charm.
Thanks!
bye!
PD:I still want to know if it possible to do it with the built-in pop-up system.
