im having trouble with the F2 trick… i did test runs of it in my profile and it works fine but i cant seem to delete the test messages… if anyone knows how to do this please reply
The problem is that the profile is actually stored as HTML, and the “secret” behind the F2 trick is the use of HTML comment code.
The easiest way to delete this is to press CTRL-A to select everything in your profile, then delete it all and start over.
If you’ve got a lot of stuff in there and you don’t want to start over from scratch, press CTRL-A to select everything, then press CTRL-C to copy to the clipboard. Switch to a text edit (Notepad will do fine) and press CTRL-V to paste it in. Now you should be able to see all the undlying HTML code, including the <!– stuff which you can now delete and paste back into your profile.
