The IM window logs me off!!

I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem before, but everytime I open a window to chat (or someone IMs me, opening a window to chat) I am logged off of AIM. Everything else works completely fine and this is the only thing that causes me to log off.

I tried uninstalling AIM completely and reinstalling it, but I still have the same problem. I’m guessing it must be some spyware or garbage like that. Does anyone have any ideas to what might be my problem?
