It’s an old joke, but now it’s Microsoft’s turn to take the hit. Odd, but I think this applies to every single PC related company out there and not just Microsoft. I’ve actually had these responses from support personel.
How many Microsoft Support Staff does it take to change a light bulb?
Four.
 One to ask “What is the registration number of the light bulb?”
🙂 One to ask “Have you tried rebooting?”
😉 Another to ask “Have you tried re installing?”
😀 And the last one to say “It must be your hardware, because the light bulb in our office works fine.”
Funny stuff, and so true!
To their credit, troubleshooting someone’s software programs over the phone is a very difficult thing to do.
Oh, and Tea Granny should get a special award for “best use of smileys in a post.”
Wow…smileys as bullet points. A+ Creativity there, and funny joke, too! You get some rep++ form me! 🙂
nice one
great use of the smileys
Thank you for noticing the smiley’s. I was worried I was going to get in trouble for using too many. Whew! I personally love those little things, and have gone through smiley withdrawl when I post here.
I didn’t like the idea of yet again picking on Microsoft, but I knew it was a name everyone knew. I haven’t had any problems with Microsoft, but every support person that I’ve contacted in other companies has given me this kind of grief.:(
